It wasn't enough for sci-fi geeks to be happy with the incredible Star Trek PADD app-- they had to demand a Douglas Adams version, too. The futuristic, intergalactic Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy will hit the App Store this Fall, from game developer Hothead.
The new Hitchhiker's Guide app will contain entries from the novels about towels, vogons, and the slammin' Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster drink, plus additional entries on more Earthly topics. Details are scarce about interactive elements contained in the app, but considering that we've already got an effective Guide with Google and Wikipedia, we're hoping this Guide app will feature plenty of Adams-esque humor.
From the screenshots, it seems that Hothead's Guide app will not resemble the Guide shown in the recent movie.
