DC Comics Graphic Novels Exclusive to Kindle Fire

News Posted by Raymond Padilla, September 29th, 2011

DC Comics has announced that it will be offering more than 100 of its graphic novels exclusively through Amazon for use on the Kindle Fire. When I wrote about my recent conversation to digital comics, I noted that one area where print has an advantage is with the pricing of graphic novels and collected editions. Well, that advantage has gone out the window. With DC's exclusive deal with Amazon and an extremely attractive $199 price point, the Kindle Fire looks like the must-have tablet for comic-book lovers. Read on for the full list of DC graphic novels that will be available for the Kindle Fire's launch.

Here's a clip from the official press release:

DC Entertainment, the first publisher to offer more than fifty comic book titles on the same day in digital and print, is now taking the world of digital books by storm. The comic book giant has worked with Amazon to bring 100 of its original graphic novels exclusively to Amazon’s newly announced Kindle Fire, including best-selling graphic novels WATCHMEN, BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY and SUPERMAN: EARTH ONE, which are available for the first time digitally.

I'm in! I'm placing my pre-order now and I'll worry about the space later. Especially with Y Man being on that list.
